Kanya Daan Project is a voluntary social-welfare initiative of EDUSKILL INDIA FOUNDATION. Before it is anything else it is a register: a record of unmarried girls between 10 and 28 years of age, from families in genuine economic difficulty, held so that when support can be arranged the foundation already knows who needs it and has checked her details.कन्या दान परियोजना EDUSKILL INDIA FOUNDATION की एक स्वैच्छिक समाज कल्याण पहल है। सबसे पहले यह एक रजिस्टर है: सच्ची आर्थिक कठिनाई में जी रहे परिवारों की, 10 से 28 वर्ष की अविवाहित बेटियों का रिकॉर्ड, जो इसलिए रखा जाता है कि जब सहयोग की व्यवस्था हो सके, तब संस्था को पहले से पता हो कि किसे आवश्यकता है, और उसका विवरण जाँचा जा चुका हो।
The project does not begin at a wedding. It begins with whatever is standing in a girl's way - fees the family cannot pay, a course she cannot reach, an illness in the house, a household with no steady income - and it works outward from there. The families who register here are not objects of charity. They are asking to be counted, and they are entitled to be dealt with plainly. So we ask for information in plain words, we verify it with respect, and we say without softening it what we can and cannot promise: registration does not guarantee assistance. Stand with families in need without contributing in any way to dowry, and without any assistance towards a marriage below the legal age.ज़रूरतमंद परिवारों के साथ खड़े होना, पर दहेज में किसी भी तरह का कोई योगदान किए बिना, और विवाह की कानूनी रूप से निर्धारित आयु से कम आयु में होने वाले विवाह के लिए कोई सहायता दिए बिना।

Marriage Assistanceविवाह सहायता
Considered only at or after the legally permitted age of marriage, which for a woman in India is 18. This is what the project may consider, not what it promises. For a girl below 18, this form records her details for possible support in the future - such as education, skill training or health support - and keeps her file ready for the years ahead. No marriage-related assistance can be processed before the legally permitted age of marriage. For a girl of 18 or above, the application may be taken up for consideration after our team verifies the information and documents. You receive an Application IDआपको आवेदन आईडी मिलती है
As soon as the form is submitted, an Application ID is shown on the screen. Please write it down or take a photograph of it. The office checks that the form is complete and that the documents can be read clearly. A coordinator may visit the family, speak with you or ask for one or two more documents. After verification the application is marked as verified, kept on the waiting list, or found not eligible. You will be informed of the outcome. If your family does not have every one of these papers, please come forward anyway. Tell the project office what is missing and our team will work out with you what can be used instead. This is not a dowry schemeयह दहेज की योजना नहीं है
Kanya Daan Project supports families in need. It is not, and must never be represented as, assistance towards dowry, which is prohibited under the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. No assistance towards a marriage below the legal ageकानूनी आयु से कम में विवाह के लिए कोई सहायता नहीं
No marriage-related assistance is provided for anyone below the legally permitted age of marriage, in line with the Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006. Age is verified from documents before anything is approved, and this is applied without exception. A girl below 18 is registered for future support only.बाल विवाह प्रतिषेध अधिनियम, 2006 के अनुरूप, विवाह की कानूनी रूप से निर्धारित आयु से कम आयु के किसी भी व्यक्ति को विवाह से संबंधित कोई सहायता नहीं दी जाती। कुछ भी स्वीकृत करने से पहले आयु दस्तावेज़ों से जाँची जाती है, और यह बिना किसी अपवाद के लागू होता है। 18 वर्ष से कम आयु की बेटी का पंजीकरण केवल भविष्य सहयोग के लिए होता है।
Every registration is verified, and every decision is recordedहर पंजीकरण का सत्यापन होता है, और हर निर्णय दर्ज होता है
Details and documents are checked by the project office, and a coordinator may speak with the family or visit the home. Verification notes, approvals, decisions and anything that is provided are documented, and the project answers for those records to its committee, its supporters and the law. This project moves at the speed of the people who fund it. Any unmarried girl between 10 and 28 years of age from an economically weaker family. Anything the project can do depends on eligibility, verification, project guidelines, the resources available at the time and the approval of the committee. Yes, as a Future Support Registration. Her details are recorded for support such as education, skill training or health support, and her file stays with us for the years ahead. No marriage-related assistance can be processed before the legally permitted age of marriage. Five: the girl's age or identity proof, a parent or guardian ID, an address proof, income proof or a BPL or ration card if the family has one, and a recent photograph of the girl. Verification takes as long as it takes - it varies from district to district and depends on when a coordinator can reach the family. Yes. Each girl is registered separately, on her own form, with her own documents and her own Application ID.
